Japanese Bento-Inspired Stationery

NOOE's Bento Jot Offers an Efficient Storage Solution

The Bento Jot by NOOE is a creative storage box concept inspired by the Japanese Bento, which is a historically packed meal storage dating back to the Kamakura period. The Bento Jot features the main elements of the bento box but in the realm of stationery.

Similar to the traditional bento box, which has a space for different dishes, the Bento Jot is made with three unique layers. Although it is inspired by Japanese culture, the design also borrows themes from Scandinavian design. There are 12 stationery items, all of which are made with premium materials to enhance space use.

Co-founder and Chief Design Officer of the brand, Neetica Pande states, "We love stationery, however, the main challenges we saw with most available stationery today were poor quality and the lack of standardization. We envisioned a collection that has a cohesive aesthetic and performs exceptionally well, while still being designed sustainably. We wanted to move from cheap-plasticky to a more emotive-tactile experience."
