Ben & Jerry's Dublin Mudslide is Arriving with a New Formula

The Ben & Jerry's Dublin Mudslide ice cream is being revived by the brand with a new recipe to offer consumers a way to indulge their craving for creamy cocktail-inspire flavors. The frozen treat is crafted with an Irish cream ice cream that is packed with white chocolate chip cookies and swirls of coffee fudge along with a new spirit that is achieved using whey. The Wheyward Spirit is described as being a hybrid between a sake and soda that emphasizes sustainability thanks to its sourcing from local dairy farms.

Founder and CEO of Wheyward Spirit spoke on the new Ben & Jerry's Dublin Mudslide ice cream collaboration saying, "Aside from being uniquely delicious, using excess whey as the base for our spirit helps us prevent food waste and creates a more sustainable model of spirit production. I am thrilled to partner with Ben & Jerry’s to bring back a fan favorite with the same taste and less waste, using our signature spirit."
