The company recently secured $40 million in series B funding provided by DBL Partners -- Lyndon and Peter Rive.
According to the company, Bellwether Coffee's new coffee roaster is able to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 90 percent compared to traditional gas-powered roasters thanks to the business' decision to ship unroasted coffee beans to centralized roasting facilities. Moreover, Bellwether Coffee's eco-friendly coffee roasters eliminate the need for ventilation and gas liners thanks to its state-of-the-art use of hot air, sensors, direct heat, and precision agitation blades.
