The 'Oblak' Bedside Sleep Device Encourages Better-Quality Rest

Many consumers are experiencing insomnia that is being tied to smartphone usage in the bed/bedroom, so the conceptual 'Oblak' bedside sleep device has been designed by Mark Stanisic as a way to combat against this issue. The unit works by being positioned on a bedside table and will go to work using NFC technology to communicate with the various technology products within the room or larger home to go into sleep mode for optimal rest. This will be triggered when the user places their smartphone on the wireless charging pad, which will also change the color of the built-in lighting system and emit a low-decibel sound range to help lull the person to sleep.

The conceptual 'Oblak' bedside sleep device could help drastically to reduce sleep deprivation and optimize our spaces for the perfect level of rest.
