'Be Paletto' is a Structure Made of Salvaged Shipping Goods

Eleven students from Denmark’s Aarhus School of Architecture have created a pavilion called ‘Be Paletto.’ The structure, made out of 420 stacked pallets, is reminiscent of a scene from a Shakespeare play. The students are making use of the estimated two billion pallets that are uselessly circulated in the world, since some of them are only used once.

The students at Aarhus described the goal of the ‘Be Paletto’ to "become an active element in the everyday-life of the school, and not to be only an object."
