The ElectraFlyer-C Delivers a Quiet Eco-Friendly Sky Ride

The ElectraFlyer-C is a small, quiet, vibration-free electric airplane made of a metal moni motoglider retrofitted with a custom battery pack. Cruise speed is about 70 mph with a top speed of about 90 mph and a stall speed about half of that. The plane will fly for between 1.5 and 2 hours before it needs a recharge. The 110v plug-in recharge will set you back about 60 cents.

The company also makes the ElectraFlyer Trike, which is a Northwing Stratus and sells component parts so you can build your own trike or convert an ultralight.
