The V20 ADVANCED battery line utilizes tabless cell technology to deliver increased power and extended runtime compared to standard batteries while maintaining compatibility with the brand's existing ecosystem of over 100 V20 power tools and outdoor equipment. The larger six-amp-hour model provides up to three times more power and three times longer runtime than a conventional two-amp-hour battery, while the smaller three-amp-hour version offers 96% more power and up to 50% longer runtime, with both batteries engineered to operate at cooler temperatures during intensive use.
To encourage adoption, CRAFTSMAN is hosting in-store trade-in events at participating Lowe's and Ace Hardware locations where consumers can exchange a qualifying rechargeable power tool battery from any brand and receive a free V20 ADVANCED three-amp-hour battery with charger starter kit.
