The Body Shop previously introduced body care products make with "wonky" carrots or bananas and its new Bath Blend range shares a similar purpose by giving new life to "second choice" fruits and vegetables. The range taps into consumer interest in upcycling and food waste awareness, especially as a high percentage of produce is wasted due to the food industry deems that some items are just not up to marketing standards.
Bath Blend introduces foaming products for the bath that are made with banana and avocado oil, coconut and passion fruit or carrots and mango seed oil. Naturally, all of these bath products are inspired by mixed fruits and vegetables and they have bright, smoothie-like colors. The bubbling, skin-nourishing, waste-reducing bath products are packed with natural vitamins and antioxidants.
