As a part of its 75th-anniversary celebration, the NBA is collaborating with artist Andy Blank to create a series of sculptures highlighting the game's biggest part — the ball. Each sculpture is handmade in Brooklyn, created with solid plaster. Blank is a Brooklyn-based contemporary artist and is also known for previously creating limited-edition NBA logo prints as a result of a multi-year partnership between the two brands.
Notably, the collection will be straying away from the traditional orange color scheme of a basketball and opting for four pastel colorways. There will be 75 sculptures available for each color, so make sure to stay tuned for its release on April 9 at 12 ET.
