Pierre Cardin Brightens Barcelona Fashion Week

Unveiled in its latest showing at Barcelona Fashion Week, the new Pierre Cardin collection presents a line of futuristic-looking outerwear and casual wear. Monochromatic sweaters with green detailing and geometric shapes were seen on the runway along with coats and suits with structural cuts, postmodern tailoring and buckle details.

Bright uses of color were also present throughout the collection. Electric pinks, blues, yellows in addition to bold tones of red and green made appearances in the line's showing of plastic raincoats and high-waisted trousers. My favorite piece from the collection was a vertically striped white and yellow blazer that would brighten up anyone's spirits, even on the most gloomy spring day. So if you're looking to add some more color to your wardrobe this season, check out the Pierre Cardin collection from Barcelona Fashion Week.
