The W Magazine August 2014 Banal Plus editorial was orchestrated by photographer Craig McDean. In each shot, models Daiane Conterato, Manuela Frey, Katlin Aas, Grace Mahary, Amanda Murphy, Aymeline Valade and Fei Fei Sun appeared uncaring and completely nonchalant, staring blankly ahead at the camera while clad in outfits assembled by stylist Edward Enninful.
Despite the cool attitude that characterized this set, Enninful brought in playful elements via upscale athletic looks. Thick nike socks were paired with slip on sandals and beanie hats, making the women appear poised for a jog along the block.
Hair expert James Pecis kept the coifs similarly athletic. Bobs were left sleek and quite short, leaving little in the way should the models embark upon a workout.
