Charitable Bamboo Underwear

Prime and Covenant House Donate Underwear and Socks to Homeless Youth

Recently launched on Kickstarter, Prime is a ultra-luxurious and environmentally friendly underwear brand.

Made of bamboo, the underwear is three times softer than cotton and about three degrees Fahrenheit cooler than cotton. Best of all, it uses 300% less water than cotton and no pesticides, compared to the one billion pounds used to manufacture cotton annually. With its products, Prime is taking strides to turn the fashion industry, which is considered to be the second most harmful to the environment, into an industry that's conscious of its impact on the world.

For every pair of underwear that Prime sells, it will be giving one pair of socks and one pair of underwear away to homeless youth through its partnership with the Covenant House. As socks and underwear are some of the most frequently requested items by homeless shelters, Prime's actions help to ensure that those in need have access to such essentials.
