Badger Technologies' 'Digital Teammate' is designed to work alongside employees to support everything from inventory management and planogram compliance to food safety and security monitoring. This autonomous robot leverages mobile data and analytics, computer vision, RFID technology and artificial intelligence, combining software and hardware to enhance existing systems and human workforces. Notably, through an accompanying mobile app, teammates from associate to C-suite level can access prioritized tasks, data and insights.
In addition to supporting staff, the robot includes a customer-facing tablet that provides personalized guidance, directions and more. In a press release, Badger Technologies shared the results of a 2024 retail innovation survey, showing that 63% of Gen Z and Millennial shoppers reported positive interactions with robots and appreciated their efficiency and novelty.
