Martin Margiela's Munich Store Is An Eclectic Fashion Hub

Martin Margiela offers an inspiring visual mixture in his clothing, store, runway, website and advertising designs.

Margiela is a truly avant-garde artist in everything he does. Recently he opened a new store in Munich, located on Maximilianstrasse 34 featuring menswear and womenswear collections. The overall interior gives the costumers information about the direction he is taking and creates a new environment for the people to interact with.

In all of his designs, originality is the most important part of the concept. It often centers on the simplicity of black and white with an eclectic style of old and ultra modern. White brick walls, mirrors and photographs are the canvases of the store.

You can check out the fascinating store design in the photos above and his brilliant innovative thinking in the video of the Spring/Summer 2009 collection.
