Large-Scale Infotainment Screens

Byton is Sharing an Intuitive Automotive Interface at CES 2019

At CES 2019, premium electric automaker Byton is set to introduce what it calls "the world's most intuitive automotive interface" in the form of a 49-inch infotainment screen—long enough to span the entire width of the car's dashboard. The brand's premium EV models will also feature a second display, which can be found on the steering wheel to give the driver control over the car's user interface.

The infotainment system, powered by Blackberry, is said to be able to make it possible for a "shared experience" to be created among those in the car. With the system, users will be able to interact with the car via touch and gesture-based controls, as well as voice commands.
