Google Brings Call Screening Capabilities to All Pixel Devices

Google is adding automatic call screening features to all Pixel devices. The capability was first added to the Pixel 4 this previous December. The new privacy feature could be popular with Pixel users, especially among users who experience a high number of spam calls.

Users can access automatic call screening in the Call Screen tools for the device. The feature is able to detect robot callers, and the Google Assistant will ask who is placing a call, and for what reason. While a call is being screened, it will not send a notification to the user until after the call screening process has finished. Additionally using the call screening tool will not increase the amount of data a person has used.
