The UK's National Autistic Society released a PSA that aims to generate more understanding for the many autistic adults who are looking to find work -- but aren't able to do so due to the sensory overload that's often experienced in interviews.
Given that statistics show "only 16% of autistic adults are in full-time paid work" and just 32% are in "some kind of paid work," many feel that their skills aren't being utilized how they should.
Throughout the PSA, the National Autistic Society illustrates what an interview might look like from an autistic adult's perspective. They're asked normal questions, however they're constantly caught-up with the many surrounding noises and details that make the process considerably more difficult.
