The gorgeous, exotic sports car is sure to be a favorite reveal when it debuts at the North American International Auto Show this January. The German car company has been teasing auto junkies with rumors they would reveal a "world first" and sStunning concept car" at the world's largest auto show coming up in Detroit. Looks like this diesel engined baby is it!
"Auto Motor und Sport broke Audi's embargo and has announced that the German automaker will bring a V12 TDI turbo-diesel version of the R8 to Detroit," Left Lane News reported. "No official word on output, but in the Q7 SUV, the V12 TDI engine produces 500 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque."
It could be arriving on the market as soon as 2009.
