Australian architecture and artistic collective, Studio Rain showcased a temporary sauna installation in the Melbourne Yarra River entitled 'Atmosphere: A Revival.' It is constructed to be disassembled and reassembled without the need of any heavy machines. The structure is made to be lightweight with the utilization of reclaimed timber making up the silhouette of the piece.
It is flat-packed together held by polycarbonate cladding, which give the walls and ceiling a semi-clear visual to it. To heat up the structure, there is a wood-burning stove and the purpose of this installation is to connect with nature. Alive Nivison, one of the co-founders state that The beauty of the off-grid sauna is that it can be immersed in a natural environment, where access to electricity and gas can be limited, and relocated easily without the need for a plumber or electrician."
