The ASUS Taichi Seamlessly Goes from Tablet to Ultrabook

The ASUS Taichi is a revolutionary tablet-laptop combo designed to give you one less gadget to lug around. ASUS' latest creation looks like a normal laptop, but upon closer inspection it's revealed that the backside of its screen is actually a touchscreen display.

The rear display of the ASUS Taichi is a 1080p IPS touchscreen. Both displays have cameras, and both can be used independently. The inside screen also has a 1080p display, and features a backlit keyboard, trackpad, two USB 3.0 ports, a micro-DVI port and a mini-VGA port. The Taichi had 4GB of RAM and is powered by an Intel Ivy Bridge Core i7 CPU. The ASUS Taichi will be offered in both 11.6" and 13.3" models, with no word yet on pricing or availability.
