The Assemble Studio Features Sculptural Wood Peaks

The Assemble Studio project created by the Assemble architectural design team uses naturally finished wooden accents to add an industrial feel and sculptural detailing to its workplace.

The use of natural pine wood keeps the office looking light and spacious, making it easy to stay focused and creative. While the office is full of interesting and chic furnishings, the origami-inspired ceiling mount is what makes the biggest impression on the viewer. With its shapely peaks and latticework design, the wooden addition actually serves to cover up a mess of unseemly ducts and air conditioning units. This concealing technique also serves to improve the acoustics of the room by softening hard concrete with its wooden slabs.

The Assemble Studio optimizes its use of natural wood accents.
