This collection of artistic skateboard decks has been unveiled by The Skateroom as a series of items that are emblazoned with the work of iconic artist Jean-Michel Basquiat.
The boards have been created through a collaboration with The Skateroom, The Jean-Michel Basquiat Foundation and Artestar, and are each emblazoned with artwork from the artist's early 1980s work. This helps to bring the street art to the deck of avid skaters who want to convey a sense of counterculture coolness in a way that also celebrates skate culture today.
The Basquiat skateboard decks are all printed on maple wood in a triptych manner as well as one five-board print of the black & white Demon painting. The limited-edition decks are available now in a select number of styles to choose from.
