Art of Craft Collaboratives With Artists in the Name of Philanthropy

Founded by Sal Masekela and Derek Galin, Art of Craft is a t-shirt company that collaborates with artists to create limited-edition offerings for a good cause. The cause that each garment supports is left up to the artist.

Art of Craft works closely with the artist to create a graphic design that embodies and reflects the artist's work. The finished shirts, which are made in Los Angeles, are available for the modest price of $6, all of which is donated to the non-profit organization it's been chosen to support.

These charitable collaborations are really awesome, but they're not meant to make buyers feel bad or obligated to make a purchase. As Art of Craft co-founder Masekela puts it, "This is not meant to be a guilt-based brand — this is celebratory."
