Ahmadabad Police Ordered to Implement Sweet Smells

Encounters with the police may not be so foul unpleasant in the future. Those getting into trouble with the authorities in Ahmadabad, India may be pleasantly surprised later this year when authorities begin scenting their uniforms with floral rose and refreshing lemon aromas. The majority of India's officers are overweight and the summers are very hot. When they face several hours out under the scorching sun, their natural body odours can be very unpleasant.

According to the Associated Press, "The city's police department is working with a team of designers to provide 8,000 officers with new uniforms that will be made with specially scented, lightweight fabric designed to keep the police officers sweet smelling and sweat free."
