When looking at these architectural LEGO creations it's hard to believe they're crafted from the plastic building blocks, but that's the reality 'The Art of Architecture' Exhibit. Running now until May 29th at the Figge Art Museum in Davenport, Iowa 'The Art of Architecture' Exhibit features the best and brightest creations.
'The Art of Architecture' Exhibit is the work of Adam Reed Tucker who is one of a mere 11 LEGO Certified Professionals. Tucker creates the buildings from scratch with his creations going on to become the basis for LEGO kits sold around the world.
Explaining his process, Tucker said, "[The project is] all about celebrating architecture and using plastic, interlocking bricks as my medium. Lego was the easiest three-dimensional medium to use because it doesn't require gluing or cutting, it's self-contained, interlocking, and everyone knows how to snap them together."
