With its latest curiously designed architectural exhibition at the National Building Museum in Washington DC, New York-based practice Snarkitecture celebrates a decade of operation. With reference to the company's history of projects, the event boasts an immersive environment for the audience and adds an artistically unconventional twist.
Dubbed 'Fun House,' the architectural exhibition boasts a traditional American home with a picket fence and a kidney-shaped pool. The faux building is made so that it begins to disintegrate, in order "to reveal the wooden structure underneath." Snarkitecture invites guests to survey and walk around the architectural exhibition, while gradually being introduced to the firm's previous work -- 42 of the "typically monochrome designs" are shown within the celebratory immersive environment of the Fun House project.
