Mid-Century Modern Gingerbread House

This 1950s-inspired gingerbread house is a wonderful holiday Flickr find. The artist created this mid-century bungalow and decorated it appropriately inside and out.

The house has a black leather and plywood Eames chair, a Noguchi glass and wood table and fabulous modern art--all made from edible materials such as fondant. I also love the coconut shag rug, wafer cookie brick wall and chimney, retro wall clock, and the glass surrounding the front door.

Check out the ingenious method she used to prop up the parts as the icing 'glue' firmed up.
