Augmented Investigation Apps

The 'Archer, P.I.' App Integrates AR and Printing Technology

To kick off the launch of the eighth season of the animated television series Archer on FXX, FX Networks launched the 'Archer, P.I.' gaming app.

The app challenges players to join Archer as he takes on the role of a private investigator, and help him find clues. This game has players keep their eyes peeled for clues revealed through the newest episodes of Archer, as well as other real-world content on billboards, commercials and social media networks.

Although the world of Archer comes to life before one's eyes with cutting-edge augmented reality technology, the Archer, P.I. game also features an interesting twist; to claim their reward for successfully solving the case, players must print out and assemble the objects that they scanned from the show.
