If this doesn't convey the message, nothing will. This very graphic ad against whaling was done up by the Republic of Everyone, the art direction by Happy Soldiers. The photograph of a whale whose guts are literally oozing out is meant to speak out against the unethical fishing of whales.

Although it's been banned commercially for over 20 years, over 30,000 whales have been killed since 186, most of them in Japan, Iceland and Norway.

If movies like Free Willy won't capture people's attention in a loving way, maybe this extreme shockvertising will.
