The Anne Ouellette 'A Slice of Tea' Project Makes the Perfect Cup

The Anne Ouellette 'A Slice of Tea' Project is both practical and creative. After being asked to develop an innovative packaging design for tea in a design packaging class at the Université du Québec à Montréal, this ingenius idea was proposed by student Anne Ouellette.

Ouellette created a cutting board made out of hardwood, which hides a specially designed knife to cut the tea. The tea, which has been compressed, looks similar to a chocolate bar. To make a glass, all you have to do is slice off a section of tea and mix it into hot water.

The design is both simple and effective. Not only will it provide the perfect proportions per glass, but it also has gorgeous minimalistic packaging.
