Recession Invokes Anna Wintour Fashion Week Outfit Repeats

The Anna Wintour Fashion Week look encompassed wardrobe pieces used over and over again in the same combination. The vogue editor and fashion industry power-house was spotted wearing the same snakeskin coat in London, Milan, and Paris—three days out of ten—with the same printed dress and beaded necklace. I guess this is what chiconomics really means.

You’d think that the most influential person in fashion would rather stay home from a Fashion Week show than attend wearing the same outfit even once, much less three times. But perhaps the Anna Wintour Fashion Week repeat offenses point to an overall change in the fashion perspective: to be a recessionista, you will have to, at least once, repeat an outfit. It’s all so very wise.
