Andrés Gallardo Albajar Lensed Spain's Vibrant Urban Areas

Andrés Gallardo Albajar, a Spanish-born photographer who currently resides in Estonia, traveled back to his home country to capture some of its most unique urban scenes.

With clear blue skies functioning as the perfect backdrop, Andrés Gallardo Albajar shows vibrant architecture while focusing on the shapes made by their walls. In doing so, he creates interesting geometric scenes, which are sometimes so bright they look completely surreal. An example of this is his shot of a palm tree behind a tall neon pink fence. With stark contrasts of color between the foliage, sky and fence, the scene looks like it's a part of a cartoon realm. Other shots make use of color similarly, helping to highlight the small beauties that make up the country.
