Crystal Paper Lights

The Swarovski-Inspired Amplify Lanterns by Yves BéHar

Inspired by the Swarovski crystal, the Amplify Lanterns by Yves Béhar manage to combine technology and artistry in a magical yet luxurious way. These light fixtures are actually made of recycled paper and are currently being displayed at the Swarovski Crystal Palace in Milan, Italy.

An LED light inside casts the refracted pattern of a real crystal onto the paper lantern allowing the lights to look like they are shimmering. The Amplify Lanterns by Yves Béhar were not only inspired by Swarovski crystals, but are shaped and colored to resemble the diamond-like gems as well. There are six different fixtures that can be displayed alone or together.
