Amorepacific and Eastman Implement Sustainable Packaging

Amorepacific and Eastman teamed up to provide more sustainable packaging solutions to reduce plastic waste across the K-beauty giant's roster of beauty brands. The company's first brand to use the new packaging is the skincare brand Laneige. It will introduce the packaging made from Eastman's Cristal Renew polyester material for its Water Sleeping Mask.

The new packaging includes up to 50% recycled content. Water Sleeping Mask is a consumer favorite product, which is now available in Eastman's molecular recycling technology. Eastman's packaging solution breaks down hard-to-recycle plastic waste to create new materials, thereby diverting it from landfills and lowering greenhouse gas emissions. Each jar is crystal clear and maintain's the brand's premium beauty aesthetic while committing to sustainability.
