The 'Buddy' American Lager Supports Local Dog Rescues In California

Award-winning San Diego, California-based Second Chance Beer Company has launched a refreshing new American lager that aims to donate proceeds to the cause of local dog rescues.

A percentage of proceeds from the sales of 'Buddy Lager' will be directed to rescues such as Second Chance Rescue and The Animal Pad, both of which are devoted to the cause of helping homeless and abandoned dogs.

Available in four-packs of 16-ounce cans, this American lager doesn't merely offer a refreshing and eminently crushable drinking experience, but also promises the bonus of giving you the satisfaction of contributing to improving the plight of homeless pooches.

Virginia Morrison, CEO of Second Chance Beer Company, noted that 'Buddy Lager' follows on the heels of several other canine-supporting endeavors by the brewery, which include fundraisers and adoption drives. "Giving pups a second chance is at the core of what we do at Second Chance Beer Company," Morrison said.
