This Amcor Carry Handle is Optimized for PET Containers

This new Amcor carry handle has been added to the brand's beverage packaging portfolio to tap into the burgeoning bulk convenience category and support the changing landscape in the retail sector.

The handle measures in at 38mm to give it a stouter height that will work well for bulk beverage bottles where height constraints are of the utmost importance. The handle will save a reported 34.5% weight over the standard 48mm varieties on the market without losing sight of durability or recycling. The handle is suited for rigid PET bottles up to 10-liters in size, which are continuing to see an uptick in the market amongst consumers opting for bulk beverage purchases.

Product Line Manager for Beverage Closures & Home Care Triggers Uli Kobert commented on the latest Amcor carry handle saying, "This new 38mm handle comes at the right time, with more consumers demanding water or non-carbonated beverages in container sizes of between 5 to 10 litres. It’s a solution that is convenient for the consumer and makes it easier to carry."
