The Amazon Warrior Burger Celebrates the New Wonder Woman Film

To celebrate the release of 'Wonder Woman' on June 2, a restaurant in Tampa, Florida, called 'Datz,' has debuted a monstrous new creation called the 'Amazon Warrior.' Featuring colorful buns and delicious toppings, the new burger is a meal that is certainly fit for a superhero.

The Amazon Warrior burger is an ordinary burger taken to superhero proportions. To emulate the Wonder Woman theme, the burger features three colorful buns: a red bun, a yellow bun and a blue bun covered in star-shaped slices of cheese. The buns are meant to not only anchor the burger, but to also serve as a tribute to Lynda Carter's iconic costume in the 1975 TV series. The rest of the burger consists of two beef patties, onions, lettuce, tomato, pickle, pineapple and plenty of cheese. As chef Joe Rivera explains, the towering burger is means to "juxtapose the gritty-yet-modern warrior/athlete feeling of the new movie with the iconic, Lynda Carter-Wonder Woman TV version."
