Modern design aesthetic often dictates that elements be sleek, angled and minimalistic; 'House Folded' by the architecture firm APLHAville certainly comprises all of the above.
This three-level contemporary residence located in Osaka features an amazing sloped appearance. Super slanted, angled walls make up the structure and effectively separate the three floors. They also come together to create triangle-shaped windows on the building's exterior, which is made of concrete. The walls are punctuated by square peepholes and a sharply distorted staircase divides the first and second floor living rooms. The abode has one bedroom that is situated on the top floor and leads out onto a secluded terraced roof. Dezeen also describes the residence as having a "wonky" garage on the ground level.
