NOVEOS Provides Accurate Results with Small Sample Sizes

NOVEOS is an allergy testing system that fuses "proven technologies with innovative methodologies," ultimately reimagining the way we check for allergies. The device is developed by HYCOR -- a California-based company, and it promises efficiency, reduction of operational costs and hyper-accurate results.

NOVEOS operates with "microparticles and chemiluminescence, with help from liquid ready-to-go reagent."Moreover, the allergy testing system is more "resistant to blood-based interference" than its predecessors. The NOVEOS also decreases the need for human labor as it can efficiently work for up to eight hours without interference. HYCOR has also ensured that the allergy testing system boasts increased onboard loading capacity, with the ability to process up to 140 allergens and up to 10,500 allergen tests at one time. There is a total of 60 positions for patient samples, as well.
