The First All-Electric Mini Will Be Released in March 2020

The all-electric Mini will be the first of the brand to be fully battery powered. The design is titled the Mini Electric or the Mini Cooper SE and it is scheduled to begin deliveries in March of 2020. BMW intends to preserve what makes the car popular but make a more sustainable design. Those living within the UK can order the car now, with packages maxing out at $37,891.

The all-electric Mini is powered by a 135 kW engine that can bring the car speeds of 62 MPH in 7.3 seconds. The car has a top speed of 93 MPH and has a 144-mile range. Fast charging capabilities allow the car to come 80% fully charged in 35 minutes. The car battery level is presented on a 5.5-inch display that shows the engines information.
