Model Alisa Ahmann Poses in a Marching Band Uniform for Numero Magazine

Marching bands are made chic for the September 2014 #156 issue of Numero magazine starring vixen model Alisa Ahmann. The shoot features Ahmann dressed up in a vintage marching band uniform wearing classically retro fashion ensembles.

Talented photographer Greg Kadel captured retro fashion in this boldly bright editorial. The shoot focused on heavy fake eyelashes, newsboy caps, cat eye sunglasses and heavily embellished dresses. In many of the images stylist Elizabeth Sulcer revives the geeky marching band uniform by giving it a high fashion twist. Ahmann adorns the towering marching band hat along with trench coats, thigh-high boots and bold black and white eye makeup. The overall look is stunning but most likely not that appropriate for a high school band class. Better to save this look for an adventurous night out.
