Photographer Alex Brunet rendered the 'Landscape of the Body' series in fascination with human's connection and relatable elements with the earth. Organic curves, forms and shapes of the body mimic the curvature of the world's ever shifting image. The shoot steers away from the sensuality and powerful motion conveyed through the human's image of the body, and redirects focus on pure physical structure.
Model Taryn Andreatta poses with spontaneous ease, bringing a certain youthful energy to the shoot. Her look is refreshing and revitalizing, her giant mane of hair creating a sense of movement and growth. Brunet juxtaposed her portraits with different elements of nature. From ferns, to cacti and gorgeous coastalscapes the human body collides with the earth as a product of shape and form.
