Air New Zealand Partners with Parrotdog Brewery on a New Beer Flavor

Air New Zealand is partnering with Wellington's Parrotdog Brewery to launch a new beer dubbed the 'Dash-hound.' The beer features a new NZH-109 hop from the Tasman region, boasting a fruity composition balanced with a traditional bitter taste.

'Dash-hound' was created to taste good at high altitudes in addition to normal ground consumption. Designed for enjoying during Koru Hour flights on Air New Zealand's domestic network, the beer reflects Kiwi artisanship. In terms of the name, the "Dash" refers to the airline's de Havilland Q300 Dash-8 aircrafts, while the "hound" part refers to the canine branding Parrotdog has become synonymous with.

'Dash-hound' is available during Koru Hour, in Business Premier class, or at Parrotdog's Lyall Bay Brewbar.
