Dreamy World Cup Ads

This Adidas World Cup Ad Features Lionel Messi Dreaming to Kanye's New Song

The newest Adidas World Cup ad campaign features a glittany of soccer's biggest Adidas-sponsored stars and a new track by superstar rapper Kanye West, titled 'God Level.' The ad appeared for the first time during the half-time break of the UEFA Champions League final between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.

The ad depicts a series of dreams experienced by Argentina star Lionel Messi as he lies in bed, fast asleep. Messi is seen to be dreaming about his exploits on the football field and that of rival stars Luis Suarez of Uruguay, Bastian Schweinsteiger of Germany and Mesut Ozil of Germany, among others.

The Kanye West soundtrack has a unique samba-influenced beat, surely a hat-tip to the World Cup's host nation Brazil. The ad was directed by director Fernando Meirelles of 'City of God' fame.
