Combative Athletic Collections

The Adidas Originals Blue Collection is Inspired by the Military

The second installment of the adidas Originals Blue Collection for the Fall/Winter 2014 season adopts a military aesthetic.

Mixing the traditional sportswear offerings with a gritter streetwear vibe was an inspired choice. The collection features the brand's signature athletic pieces infused with fabrics designed specifically for performance, such as Climalite and Cordura. However, this time around, the collection also includes taped seams and bonded materials.

Interpreting the Russian military's 'Red Dawn' camo print, interspersed with bursts of orange and navy, the collection is super vibrant and definitely hard to miss. The much louder color palette makes the second drop of the Blue collection differ greatly from the first installment. Fans of adidas Originals will definitely enjoy the great lengths the brand has gone to experiment and diversify.
