Empowering Tween Activity Groups

'Sole Girls' Brings Young Girls Together to Socialize and Train

Looking to help empower young girls, 'Sole Girls' is an activity group that focuses on encouraging confidence, friendship and healthy activities.

The non-competitive environment created with 'Sole Girls' enables participants to work through tough stages by connecting with other girls their age and working through issues together.

The rise in technological integration has created a rift for Gen Z that has many staying inside more than previous generations. As such, 'Sole Girls' helps to offer a healthy activity group that has participants train weekly and finish the program off with a 5km run.

Started by Ashley Willes, 'Sole Girls' is described by the founder: "We want to empower girls to love themselves, and connect them with awesome mentors and give them all the tools we can to keep them in sport and standing up to bullies. We're really using physical activity as a space that's non-competitive and inclusive, they learn a lot about releasing their inner awesome."
