The Archi-Union 'Tea' House Accommodates Outdoor Shrubs

The design masters at Archi-Union have released photos of their incredible 'Tea' house structure. Located at the back of the company's J-Office in Shanghai, the Tea house is more of a tree house than anything, although it serves multiple purposes.

The two-story Archi-Union Tea house is a breathtaking construction. Built of timber-infused concrete, the edifice has been formed to accommodate a tea room, library den and a reading space. And while the creation of these subject-focused areas is a feat in its own right, the most imaginative aspect of the Archi-Union Tea house is its incorporation of a glass-encased tree. By wrapping the entire home around the branches of a backyard Archi-Union tree, the focus on the outdoors is unmistakable.

The wilderness theme of the Archi-Union Tea House brings about a fresh take on nature-themed architecture, and will be an excellent framework for those who tend to enjoy the outdoors from an enclosed perspective.
