Interactive Art Structures

The 'Super Structure' Exhibit is a Gateway to Arts and Culture

The 'Super Structure' by designer Morag Myerscough and artist Luke Morgan is an eye-catching piece of interactive art that is one part sculpture and one part pavilion.

Created specifically for Stockholm's Kulturfestival, the 10 meter high temporary structure sits atop a bridge and acts almost like a fun and functional gateway to the festival. Festival goers are encouraged to explore the two storeys that make up this bright and erratically patterned project and are invited to explore areas that are both sensory and relaxing.

A large totem -- designed to act as a poetry display -- makes up the centerpiece of 'Super Structure.' On the totem are four different poems -- each made from a combination of both English and Swedish -- that put a finishing touch to this fun and fanciful exhibit.Photo Credits: designboom, kulturfestivalen.stockholm.se
