Segede Industrie manufactured a recycled-zamak cap for L.T. Piver’s revived line of eaux de parfum and colognes, featuring 30% post-consumer recycled (PCR) zamak and a silhouette inspired by the fragrance house’s historic bottles. The cap was developed as part of L.T. Piver’s relaunch under owner Nelly Chenelat and pairs heritage design elements with contemporary manufacturing techniques.
The component was produced using a bespoke in-house mold created by Segede Industrie and finished with a glossy gold cataphoretic varnish. The design incorporates an engraved logo and a complex form intended to reflect the brand’s vintage aesthetic while providing an alternative to traditional electroplating.
For fragrance brands and packaging suppliers, the project demonstrates how recycled metal content and alternative finishing processes can be incorporated into premium packaging. The collaboration reflects a broader trend toward combining heritage-inspired luxury design with circular-economy materials and manufacturing approaches.
