Sneaker-Inspired Custom Bikes

The 916 'Concord' References the Iconic Michael Jordan

Developed in collaboration between German sportswear retailer BSTN and customization workshop IMPULS, the 916 'Concord' pays homage to an iconic sneaker. Building off Michael Jordan's well-documented passion for motorcycle racing, the 916 'Concord' takes on the aesthetic qualities of the Air Jordan XI Concord sneaker. The base bike, the Ducati 916, is also a reference to the legendary basketball player, as the 1995 Ducati 916 was released the same year as the XI Concord.

Each part of the 916 'Concord' references the shoe in some way, with the pieces being 3D printed to fit the unique bike concept. The stunning bike also features a custom seat mimicking the shoes' revolutionary upper and is constructed from a blend of leather and neoprene. The rubber handlebars also take inspiration from the shoe and reference the distinct icy outsole of the XI.
